Dermestid beetles are common insects that likely can be found in most any home in Texas!

Trophy Hunters WORST NIGHTMARE!!!

Not harmful  A household pest that may be mistaken for carpet beetle larvae

This is a wild hog mount that the hide was not properly tanned. You don't want this in your home!
Dermestids somehow find their way to improperly tanned and mounted animals!
Once they are in your home they can infest anything made of wool (carpeting, fur coats, food areas),
anywhere there is something they like to munch on and unfortunately lay eggs on and raise more of these critters.
You will spend tons of money trying to get rid of dermestids because when they appear to be all dead then
the next hatching cycle happens and here they come again!

Insects called dermestids destroy the hide, hair and horns of mounted animals and tanned skins.

If Your Mounts Show...

Hair loss; corn meal or sawdust-looking material around the hoofs, horns and feet; small, light brown fragments anywhere on the mount,
on carpet, floor covering, or furniture beneath the mount, YOU have an insect problem.

Why Could This happen?

Due to State and Federal guidelines, tanneries can longer use arsenic or other residual chemicals in their tanning process.
Therefore, your mounts now have no protection from these destructive insects. Regardless of how great the quality of taxidermy, all mounts are potential targets.
Each year, thousands of mounts are needlessly destroyed by insect damage.

Stop the bug damage!

* I can pre-treat your mounts to stop this from happening.

* I can stop further bug damage if this is happening to your mounts.

MOUNTS MAY NEED SEVERAL TREATMENTS TO STOP THE BUG DAMAGE!

Insects hide in the crevices, lay eggs  etc. so it may take more than one
treatment to get them all.

DON'T LET ONE INFECTED MOUNT SPREAD TO ALL YOUR TROPHIES!
